Regional Food Distribution Center helps prevent
hunger in our community by distributing salvaged
food products, including produce and fresh foods
at low or no cost, to area non-profit agencies
serving the hungry and the homeless.

Regional Food Distribution Center is a member
of the Food
Bank Council of Michigan, the association
Second Harvest food banks and the Michigan
Harvest Gathering food program. The
Regional Food Distribution Center also partners
with the Greater
Lansing Food Bank.

Mobile Food Pantry also distributed 673,851 pounds
of food to 12,477 people in the seven-county service
area. Meijer, Spartan and Felpausch Food Stores
provided donated food valued at $9.4 million for
the Regional Food Distribution Center to process
and distribute to needy mid-Michigan families.
Gratiot County, the Mobile Food Pantry twice monthly
provided 30,000 pounds of fresh produce and dairy
items to 600 families.
